100% cotton is only the beginning.

Two garments can both say 100% cotton and still feel completely different. For our current co-ords, we also chose the yarn, knit and fabric weight deliberately — because the finished garment matters more than the label alone.

The feel
Made to feel smooth, soft and properly considered.
The first thing most parents notice is not a number. It is the feel. We did not want a co-ord that felt thin or flimsy in hand. We wanted something comfortable for a child, but reassuringly substantial when you pick it up.

Four deliberate choices
What makes it feel different?
Fabric quality is not one decision. The finished experience comes from the combination — fibre, yarn, knit and weight.
100% cotton
The ingredient. We chose cotton for the main co-ord fabric rather than a cotton/polyester blend.
40s yarn
A relatively fine yarn, chosen to help create a smoother, more refined touch.
Interlock knit
A smooth double-knit construction that feels polished on both sides and is more stable than a basic single knit.
210 GSM
A deliberately substantial midweight feel — noticeable in your hand without chasing heaviness for its own sake.

The relatively fine yarn and interlock construction help create the refined surface we wanted. The result is kidswear that still feels easy and playful, while looking more put-together than a very lightweight basic tee.

The construction

Interlock is a double-knit construction. It has a smooth face and back and is more stable than a basic single knit — one reason it helps the co-ord feel polished rather than purely like a basic tee.

The weight
Substantial, without chasing heaviness.
210 GSM does not mean heavier is always better. It means we deliberately chose a more substantial fabric weight for this co-ord instead of chasing the lightest possible construction. In your hand, that choice gives the garment noticeable body while keeping the experience comfort-first.
